AEGEE-Ankara in Yerevan

This winter the Armenian-Turkish Working Group of AEGEE-Yerevan initiated a blog with our teammates from AEGEE-Ankara. And for 4 months our Turkish friends were writing about the places in Armenia and Yerevan, though most of them have never visited Armenia.

AEGEE-Yerevan was much surprised when Mert, Coordinator of Turkish-Armenian WG of AEGEE-Ankara let us know that they were going to be in Yerevan on the 24th of April. So Kubra, Ali and Mert, members of AEGEE-Ankara, visited Yerevan and AEGEE-Yerevan members and had a unique opportunity to see the places they had been describing before in the joint blog. They visited the Genocide Monument and Museum, the Holy See of Echmiazdin. Most of all, the members of AEGEE-Yerevan were pleasantly surprised that the guests were aware of Armenian culture and even asked to take them to Silva Kaputikyan’s museum. AEGEE-Football

AEGEE-Yerevan members are not only active citizens involved in various activities, but also young and enthusiastic guys who love playing football once in a while.

On the 4th of March AEGEE Yerevan members, well, the boys, to be exact, took part in a football match. It was even more interesting to watch the game since the members of both teams were from AEGEE Yerevan. Discover Undiscovered – Summer University 2012

You think you have been everywhere and you need another map?

You will change opinion when you appear in the city of rocks, city that rocks.
According to the Bible heaven was in the territory of Armenia. Yes, yes, you are right. You will be immediately convinced when you do your first step in Armenia. Everything is various here, both life and nature and climate. You are in a sunny valley and in a few minutes you are on the top of a snowy mountain. This is unique country for unique people. Only in Armenia you can live on 1,200 meters high and swim in a sweet lake which is the second largest alpine lake in the world, 1,900 meters above sea level and only here you can see the pinkest city in the world Yerevan which is 2794 years old. This SC will give you a unique chance to see the stars from another point of view, to learn graffiti and how to make a city more beautiful.
And there are a lot of myths and secrets that are waiting for you to be discovered.

Bye 2011, Welcome 2012

One year has passed, a year of development, new achievements and new friends in AEGEE-Yerevan.
