Agora Enschede – Surprises Non Stop!

3, 2, 1 and the delegates of AEGEE-Yerevan are in Amsterdam, on the way to attend Spring Agora Enschede-the annual statutory event of AEGEE with around 1000 other AEGEE members from all corners of Europe. Excited, happy and cool-those were the words to describe our feelings while we were travelling by train from Amsterdam to Enschede, not only we met part of Comité Directeur in the Central Station of Amsterdam, but also in each train stop we continued collecting AEGEE members and in the end the whole train was full of crazy AEGEEans.

Enschede and University of Twente welcomed us with a great sunny weather not typical for the Netherlands. So many friends meeting each other, so many hugs and kisses!!! So many people you met only on Facebook and all of them are there at the Agora!! What could be more than that to make you feel happy?

The Agora started with an amazing AEGEE open air fair, where one could find all projects and working groups of AEGEE, as well as external partners, which followed with the record photo of all AEGEEans in the football stadium.

But the most important surprise was there waiting for us at the official opening ceremony. Guess what? During the opening ceremony traditional Armenian song with Armenian dances “Hoy Nazan Yars” was played, do not believe? Check the video. The whole AEGEE-Yerevan would like to thank AEGEE-Enschede team for this nice surprise.

Well for the next days again shocking news connected to the vote of confidence for Comité Directeur members. Also Agora participants had opportunity to attend various interesting workshops, progress meetings and discussions.

Of course one could not imagine any REAL AEGEE event without European Night! So we had a nice one with traditional dances, songs, drinks and food.

What is more? AEGEE-Yerevan once again would like to thank all the organizers of this wonderful Agora!!!

In order to feel the whole AEGEE spirit at the Agora, please check this video!
