…It was summer of 2010 when I suddenly found AEGEE website and wondered why we don’t have AEGEE in Yerevan.  After sharing this idea with

my friends to create one in Yerevan and receiving their willingness we decided to go for it…..

Seem that it was not a long way, but when I look back I see that really it was a great challenge for me, to bring together people and work for something unique we believe in.

The most interesting one was the first meeting of AEGEE-Yerevan which was in a usual café and which brought together around 15 young people most of who didn’t know each other. I would say that it was the starting point of real AEGEE-Yerevan.

After that the usual procedures of signing Convension d’Adhesion in Autumn Agora, getting to know AEGEE members all around Europe and thinking about future projects.

I am really happy to see many local projects successfully implemented in this short period of time, such as Youth unemployment Action Day, EU Awareness Action day, Higher Education Days and finally the long waited Summer University Project. I am happy to see a group of motivated and young people who make AEGEE-Yerevan unique.

In some point there were people who contributed to the development of AEGEE-Yerevan and inspired me and our members to move on.

Burcu Becermen, Anna Yeghoyan, Aleksandr Hakobyan, Hamlet Ohanyan…thanks a lot for all your help and support, you are very important part of AEGEE-Yerevan.

I would like to thank also all our members, my lovely board as well as the whole AEGEE network.

I am happy….to have YOU!
